Are your prices really that competitive?

 

Yes. We research our prices daily, to ensure they remain the lowest in the market place.

 

 

How do you establish how much you’ll buy my car for?

 

We have a dynamic team of experts, with computers, notepads and glasses (so you know they’re serious) who monitor the market to establish your car’s current value. And that’s the price we offer.

 

 

Is it really easier to buy from Quicks?

 

Yes – we understand your doubt as everybody says they make it easier for you to buy a car; but we take away as much hassle as we possibly can and make it easy to shop with us either online, at our showroom or even over the phone - so you don’t need to keep visiting main dealers.

 

But if you do visit Quicks, you can be guaranteed a hearty cup of tea or coffee while you take a look around what we have on offer.  We’ll organise part-exchange valuations while you wait, same-day test drives, and even great-value finance and after-sales packages – all to save you from shopping around. And we only sell from stock, so your car will be ready to collect just a couple of days after you've made your decision. 

 

 

Will I really save money?

 

We offer great value in everything that we do, from the price of the car itself (you could save up to £10,000 compared to main-dealer prices) to our competitive finance deals and high-quality aftercare packages. Because of the size of our operation, we can do all this without sacrificing quality or our high levels of service.

 

 

I just read the answer a couple questions back, is it actually easier to buy from Quicks?

 

We really do make it easier, and then some.  Offering a kids cinema, full cafe and a virtual store to browse our cars (so you’re not hiking miles to find the right car for you), we’ve made it easier and just better to do so from Quicks.

 

 

Is Quicks regulated by an industry body?

 

Yes – we’re members of and regulated by:
1. The Financial Services Authority (member no 305727)
2. West Yorkshire Trading Standards Motor Trade Partnership
3. Tameside Trading Standards
4. South Yorkshire Trading Standards Motor Trade Partnership

 

  

What checks do you make before selling a car?

 

1. We only stock vehicles with a warranted mileage, which have had either one owner, or have been checked by the Vehicle Mileage Check service (recognised by Trading Standards. (New, delivery-mileage and one-owner vehicles do not require a mileage check, as we obtain an invoice from the supplier confirming that the mileage is warranted.)
2. We thoroughly inspect every car on arrival. Our team of mechanics, cosmetic repair specialists and valeters then prepare every vehicle to our exacting standards. We also quality-check every vehicle before it is put on display.
3. If we doubt any vehicle, we simply don't accept it for sale. So you can buy a second-hand car from us with complete confidence.
4. We then re-check your car the day before you pick it up, making sure it meets our stringent standards, and is totally safe, before it is handed over.
5. For complete piece of mind, your personal handover executive will ensure that you are 100% confident with the controls of your new car before you drive away.

 

 

Do I need an appointment for a test-drive?

 

No. We understand that testing a car, much like trying on a pair of shoes, is a critical part of the buying experience, so just get in and have a go!

 

 

Can you help me finance my new car?

 

We offer one rate of finance, competitive with all the major banks, so you don’t need to shop around for the best deal.

 

 

Are there any costs on top of the advertised price?

 

The only charges come from Road Fund License, Cherished Number Transfer/Retention (if applicable) and our optional VSV fee, just £98.38 which covers the provenance check required for us to authenticate your chosen car and it’s details, preparation and valet.  

 

 

Can you arrange delivery?

 

We do not deliver as we cannot guarantee the service levels offered by transport companies.

 

 

Can you arrange to transfer cars from one site to another?

 

Yes. Our cars can be transferred to the store nearest to you, all we ask from you is a £200 transfer fee, which is redeemable against the price of your car or fully refundable if you change your mind upon viewing the car.

 

 

How quickly will I be able to organise collection of my car?

 

Very quickly, we are called Quicks after all.  We can provide same day delivery providing we have an available collection appointment. The only delay is if you have a cherished number plate that we need to put on retention for you.

 

What if I find the same car cheaper elsewhere?

 

We’re confident you won’t! That confident, that we’ve introduced the Quicks price pledge. Should you find the same car for less elsewhere within 7 days of purchase we’ll refund the difference.

 

 

What if I change my mind?

 

Buying a car is normally the second largest purchase we’ll ever make. And we recognise that sometimes when we buy a car it doesn’t always fit our requirements as well as we thought it would. So at Quicks, if you want to return your car for any reason within a 7 day period, you can. All you need to do is bring it back in the same condition in which it was purchased and we’ll give you a full refund. We’re confident that you won’t need it, but it’s available just in case.

 

 

What happens if I have an issue after delivery?

 

We have a central customer advisors team who are available 7 days a week to assist with any queries you may have after you’ve taken delivery of your car. And remember if you’re not completely happy with it we offer a 7 day money back guarantee.
